Renaissance Part 2 Announced – Way of the Artisans

Today, Nexon Japan changed their Renaissance teaser page to include a PV for the Way of the Artisans update and a release date for it. Unfortunately, they didn’t release more details, unlike the details we received for part one. I hoping they do release details soon, because I’m very interested in what this Tamer system is. Looking back at the 4Gamer interview, I did learn some stuff :

Basically, there are two new, JMS-original Professional Systems called “Animal Trainer” and “Huntsman.” With the Huntsman profession, you can fight monsters and then capture them and collect them in cages. With the Animal Trainer profession, you can take the monsters you’ve collected in cages and raise them or turn them into Monster Familiars. I shall make videos of these professions when the game receives this update!

MapleStory Renaissance – Way of the Artisans is to be released on August 10th!

So why couldn’t GMS have an Age of Artisans trailer similar to that one? I like it.

Sick trailer , and I’m jelly of JMS
They always get the fancy stuff and GMS get their left overs -.-“

Do people really like the exclusive updates JMS has been getting? I don’t at all. It’s good that Nexon Japan is being innovative but I don’t think their updates are good. And that’s not jealousy talking, I really don’t like them. But the trailer is quite cool.

From what I can tell, the Japanese love these updates. I like them for the uniqueness factor, but other than that, I don’t mind them. Some of the Monster Familiar effects are really cool.
